About District Powerline Contractors

Our company was founded by our owners who have over 40 combined years of experience in the powerline industry.

We are proud to operate out of the capital city of British Columbia, and call Greater Victoria our home. We operate across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.

Our team consists of experienced powerline technicians, regulatory professionals, and administrative staff.

We are a licensed and bonded electrical safety contractor with Technical Safety BC. 

Our staff hold the Class A-R: Line Technician Field Safety Representative (FSR) certificate of qualification. 

We are qualified to install, construct, alter, repair, maintain, test, service and operate related overhead, underground, and marine electrical transmission and distribution systems. This includes all overhead and underground pole line or duct systems up to point of attachment of secondary service conductors.

District Powerline Contractors is also a signatory employer with IBEW Local 258.
